I hope everyone is having a fantabulous weekend. My weekend has been sleepless and exhausting because of a huge change that has recently taken place – our family of 5 has moved from Croatia to the United States!

This was a sad decision for us, but we are excited about what the future holds! While I love life in Croatia (seriously, who wouldn’t love 5-month summers, beaches, a super laidback lifestyle, and endless time spent in coffee shops), my husband and I decided we wanted to give family life a shot in the United States.

I will always cherish my 5+ years in Croatia. I became a wife to my amazing husband there as well as a mother to my 3 beautiful children, and that’s why it will forever hold a special place in my heart. I also learned about the European way of life, and for that I am extremely grateful. I was completely sad about leaving Croatia until I landed on U.S. soil and saw my parents. It’s going to take some time to adjust to life here again, but I’m hoping that in a couple weeks when my family is settled in, we will feel like our old selves again.
