I have FINALLY transferred Tackling Mommyhood over to it’s new home! Although the actual address (http://tacklingmommyhood.com) is the same, the server is not. As you can see, the look of the blog is similar but not quite the same. It’s still a work in progress. I am by no means a programmer, but I’ve learned enough html and css code this past weekend to make my brain hurt. Seriously. The last time I stayed up ’til 7am was in college. But this was worth it (I guess it was worth it in college, too? Ha!)…

There are 2 reasons why I transferred my blog over to another server (aka a “self-hosted site”). First, this gives me complete control over the look of my blog. Like I said, I’m not a programmer, but I’m willing to learn and hopefully Tackling Mommyhood will evolve into something really amazing as time goes on. Second, I wanted to be able to offer advertising. This was not possible at my blog’s old home. There has been an interest shown for advertising, and if I can cover my blogging expenses through advertisements, then why not? I win, the advertisers win, and the readers win – it’s a win/win/win situation! Speaking of which…
