Baby L had her first birthday on Friday! I can’t believe my little cupcake is already a year old. To celebrate, I wanted to do a white, fluffy, winter wonderland type of birthday with some pink accents.

Since it was rainy outside, I couldn’t take many “good” pictures during the day, so I’m not too pleased with the quality of most of the pictures below…. aaahh, can’t stress about it now, though…

The party was a lot of fun! I made the cake myself (recipe here), as well as the snickerdoodle cookies, the Croatian “French Salad” (sooooo good – recipe here), and the “Classic American Tuna Salad” (to die for – will post the recipe later). In addition to that, we had the standard Croatian party necessities – prosciutto and expensive cheese and lots to drink for the kiddos and the adults. I also made a lot of the decorations, like the cups, the candles, and the hanging wall decorations. I also  put together some fun party favors for the kiddos (I’ve realized that these are a MUST at any toddler’s or preschooler’s birthday party).  There were over 20 people crammed into a small space, but it was a lot of fun!!!
